I plan on rewatching this soon and it’s gonna involve some alcohol and tears and a lot of wailing. I love Philip Seymour Hoffman. He’s completely brilliant and everything, but Heath totally should have won Best Actor for this film. No other performance by anyone, male or female, has ever affected me as much as his in Brokeback Mountain, and it’s part of the reason why this is my fave movie and also why I can only watch it once in a blue moon.
